9. AND BE IT ENACTED, That if the legislature of
Maryland shall at any time after the year eighteen hundred and
fifty one, think proper to take possession of said road for the
purpose of declaring it a free road, six persons shall he appoint-
ed by the governor of this state, and six by said company, who
or any seven of whom, not having an interest in said road,
shall estimate the value of the property which said company
have therein, and whenever the amount so estimated shall be
paid to said company, their right to toll on said road and all
heir right title and interest therein shall cease.
10. AND BE IT ENACTED, That the commissioners
herein named shall appoint five commissioners to locate and
survey the said turnpike road, and to exhibit a plat thereof at
the time of opening the books of subscription for the said capi-
tal stock, which plat however shall not be binding on the said
company.

CHAPTER 115.
A further supplement to the act, entitled, an act to incorporate
a company to make a turnpike road leading to Cumberland
and for the extension of the charters of the several banks in
this state and for other purposes.
Sec. 1. BE IT ENACTED by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the several appointments made by the different
banks in this state, of managers of the Cumberland Turnpike
Road Company, and all their proceedings bad under such ap-
pointments, shall be and are hereby declared to be as valid as if
the said managers had been appointed agreeably to law.

CHAPTER 116.
An act authorising the levy court of Prince George's Coun-
ty to levy on said county money for the support of sundry
persons as out pensioners.
Sec. 1. BE IT ENACTED by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That it shall and may be lawful for the levy court of
Prince George's county to assess and levy annually on the as-
essable property of said county, so long as they may deem
necessary, such sum as to them may seem reasonable, not ex-
ceeding thirty dollars each, for the support of Mary Mayhew,
Rachel Danison, Elizabeth Piles, Mary O'Neal, Anne O'Neal,
James Linch, James Watoon, Senr. David Gibson, John
Pierce, Senr. and an afflicted child of Sarah Locker, and such
others as in their judgment may require aid, not exceeding fif-
teen, including the above named persons as out pensioners,
which sums when levied shall be collected and paid over by the
collector of said county, to the persons authorised by the said
court to receive the same for the benefit of the persons above-
mentioned.
2. AND BE IT ENACTED, That it shall be lawful for
the said levy court to order the collector of the county to pay
to any of the above mentioned persons who may appear to
them to be in a suffering condition, such sum as they may
judge necessary for the relief of such person, out of any sur-
plus money which may remain in his hands unappropriated.
3. AND BE IT ENACTED, That it shall be lawful for
said court to allow Isaac Ball such sum as they may deem rea-
sonable, not exceeding fifty dollars annually, so long as they
