mill which formerly belonged to John Collins in the state
of Delaware; Provided, That the said road shall not be
made to pass through the buildings, yards, gardens ore
orchards of any person or persons without the consent
of the owner or owners thereof.
2. AND BE IT ENACTED, That the time limited
by the original act to which this is a a supplement, for
the commissioners to cause a plot and certificate of said
road to be made and returned as therein directed, be
and the same is hereby extended to the first Monday in
October next, any thing in the said original act to the
contrary notwithstanding.
3. AND BE IT ENACTED, That the first section
of the said original act passed in November session eigh-
teen hundred and twelve, to which this is a supplement,
be and the same is hereby repealed and made void.

An act supplementary to an act entitled, an act to au-
thorise the filling up and extending of certain lots on
the youth side of the basin in the city of Baltimore.
Section 1. BE IT ENACTED by the General Assem-
bly of Maryland, That Christopher Hughes, and any
other person or persons who now are, or hereafter may
be the proprietors of lots binding on and entitled to the
privileges of the water on the south side of the Basin in
the city of Baltimore, between Forrest street and John-
son street, shall be and are hereby permitted instead of
filling up the whole width or breadth of William and
Johnson streets until they intersect a line extended east-
wardly in a right line, with and from the north side of
Lee street as required by the said act to which this is a
supplement, may leave docks sixty feet wide from the
north side of the street called Quay street, laid out by
the said Christopher Hughes, which street shall run par-
rallel with a right line extended from the north side of
Lee street aforesaid, and shall be of the width of fifty
feet and not more than two hundred and sixty feet dis-
tant therefrom, and that the said Christopher Hughes and
any other persons who now are or hereafter may be pro-
prietors as aforesaid, shall only be obliged to fill up and
wharf out the breadth of twenty two feet and one half
feet in front of each of the said streets on the west sides
of the said streets, filling up wharfing and extending
that breadth on the west side of William and Johnson
streets, from the north side of Quay street aforesaid to
the north side of the said line extending eastwardly in a
right line with and from the north side of Lee street as
aforesaid; which said continuation of the, west side of the
said streets called William and Johnson streets, the
aforesaid Christopher Hughes and other persons proprie-
tors of the said lots are hereby permitted, authorised and
required to fill up, wharf out and make.
