sum of two hundred thousand dollars to be appropriated
in the manner herein before provided for.
13. AND BE IT ENACTED, That all such parts of
the act to which this is a supplement, or of any other
law as are repugnant to, or inconsistent with the provi-
sions of this act, be, and the same are hereby repealed.

CHAPTER 123.
A supplement to the act entitled, an act to authorise Mat-
thias Shaffner, late sheriff of Washington county to
complete his collections, passed at this present session
of assembly.

1. BE IT ENACTED, That all the provisions of
the said original act, shall be taken and construed to ex-
tend to the said Mathias Shaaffner, as well in his capa-
city of collector of the said county as of that of sheriff of
the same.

CHAPTER 124.

An act to appoint Samuel Ogle trustee for the sale of the
real estate of Joseph Ogle, late of Frederick county,

deceased.
WHEREAS, It is represented to this general assem-
bly by the petition of the heirs of Joseph Ogle, late of
Frederick county, deceased, that the said Joseph Ogle in
his lifetime took up and patented in his name certain
tracts of land lying and being in Frederick county,
known by the names of the Resurvey on Fountain Laws,
patented to the said Joseph Ogle on the sixteenth day of
May, seventeen hundred and fifty-two for two thousand
one hundred and ten acres, and Ogleton, containing lour
hundred and sixty acres of land; that the said Joseph
Ogle in his life time sold out sundry parcels of said
lands and conveyed the same; that since his decease it
has been discovered that there remains in detatched par-
cels about one hundred and five acres, parts of the said
tracts, which hath descended to the heirs and devisees
of said Joseph Ogle, who are numerous and dispersed in
various parts of the United States, and praying that a
law may pass for the sale of the said lands; Therefore,

Section 1. BE IT ENACTED by the General Assem-
bly of Maryland, That the orphans court of Frederick
county shall have full power and authority on the petition
of Samuel Ogle, who is hereby appointed trustee, to or-
der the sale of the said one hundred and five acres of land
of Joseph Ogle, deceased, lying in Frederick county,
upon such terms and with such conditions as the court
may think proper, and the said trustee before he pro-
ceeds to act by virtue of his appointment, shall give
bond to the state of Maryland, in such penally and with
such security as shall be prescribed and approved of by
