Deed confir-
med.

Proviso.

Sec. 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That the said deed, be, and the same is hereby, to all intents and
purposes, made valid, as fully and effectually as if the said Micha-
el Lynch, were a citizen of this state, and of the United States;
provided that nothing herein contained, shall he construed or ta-
ken to affect or invalidate the claim of any bona fide purchaser,
since the execution of said deed, without notice, or any judgment
creditor.

May hold
property.

Proviso.

2. And be it enacted, That the said Michael Lynch, may take,
acquire and hold any real property within this state as amply and
fully as if he were duly naturalized: provided the said Michael
Lynch shall, within twelve months after he is capable, naturalize
himself agreeably to the laws of the United States.

Case of death.

3. And be it enacted. That if the said Michael Lynch shall die
before the expiration of the period herein allowed for his naturali-
zation, the real property which he may have purchased or acquired,
shall, nevertheless, pass to his legal representatives in the same
manner as if he had become naturalized.

Preamble.

chapter 43.
An act for the benefit of Thomas Lynch and Barnover Kean, of Frederick
county.
Whereas, it is represented to this General Assembly, by the pe-
tition of Thomas Lynch and Barnover Kean of Frederick county,
that they have purchased a piece of land in said county, to which
they cannot receive a title, in consequence of their not being natu-
ralized citizens of the United Stares: therefore,

Proviso.

Sec. 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the said Thomas Lynch and Barnover Kean, may take, acquire and
hold any real property within this state, as amply and fully as if
they were duly naturalized; provided the said Thomas Lynch and
Barnover Kean, shall, within twelve months after they are capable,
naturalize themselves agreeably to the laws of the United States.

Case of death

2. And be it enacted. That if the said Thomas Lynch and
Barnover Kean, shall die before the expiration of the period herein
allowed for their naturalization, the real property which they may
have purchased or acquired, shall, nevertheless, pass to their, legal
representatives, in the same manner as- if they had become naturali-
zed.

CHAPTER 44.

An act supplementary to an act entitled, "An Act for the relief of Buckler
Bond and others, of Harford county."
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland, That the le-
vy court of Harford county, on the application of Francis A. Bond
and others, the representatives of Buckler Bond, claiming dama-
ges sustained by the road laid out from Belle-Air to the Baltimore
county line, through the lands of Buckler Bond, in his life time,
shall extend to them the benefit of an act relating to publick roads,
in the several counties therein mentioned, passed February the
11th, 1822, chap. 152.
