And it shall be the duty of the treasurer of the western shore for the
time being, to cause copies of the said reports to be forwarded forth-
with to the editor of The American Farmer, to be by him publish-
ed for the information of the people of this state. And if any inspec-
tor shall refuse to comply with the directions of the aforesaid last
section, upon conviction thereof, he shall pay a fine not exceeding
one hundred dollars, to be applied to the benefit of the county in
which he is an inspector. And it shall be the duty of the treasurer of
the western shore for the time being, to give notice to the judges of
the county courts of said counties or Baltimore city court, as the
case may be, to be by them submitted to the grand jury, of all such
emissions.

CHAPTER 195.

An act for the benefit of the Washington Lodge, No. 3, in the city of
Baltimore.
Whereas, It is represented to this general assembly by the peti-
tion of the members of the said lodge, that the sum raised by lottery
and heretofore appropriated by law to the erection of a Masonic
Hall for the use of said lodge, is entirely inadequate to that purpose,
and the members of said lodge have no right to apply the proceeds
of said lottery to any other just purpose of the said lodge—There-
fore,

1822.

Preamble.

Sec. 1. be it enacted By the General Assembly of Maryland,
That all such parts of an act of assembly passed at December ses-
sion eighteen hundred and sixteen, entitled, An act to authorise the
drawing of a lottery or lotteries in the city of Baltimore to build a.
Masonic Hall for Washington Lodge No. 3, in that part of said
city known and distinguished by the name of Fell's Point, as direct
the managers of said lottery to apply the proceeds thereof towards
building a Masonic Hall for said lodge, be and the same are hereby
repealed.

Repeal.

2. And be it enacted, That the managers of said lottery, pay
over all the proceeds thereof which are now or shall hereafter come
in their hands, to the treasurer of said Washington Lodge No. 3,
to be so disposed of as said lodge shall direct: Provided, that this
act shall be construed to authorise the further drawing in any way
of the said lottery.
