And if after completing said bridge, any surplus money shall remain
in the hands of the said commissioners or any of them, the same
shall be re-paid, (in the same proportions as heretofore directed to
be paid) by the said commissioners or some one of them, to the
justices of the levy court, or to any four of them, of the respective
counties, to be applied towards defraying the public charge of the
said counties respectively.

CHAPTER 187.

An act for the relief of sundry persons of Prince George's and Anne-
Arundel counties and the City of Annapolis.
Sec. 1. Be it enacted By the General Assembly of Maryland,

That the justices of the levy court of Prince-George's county,
shall be and they are hereby directed and empowered at their levy
court annually, so long as they shall see cause, to assess and levy on
the assessable property of the said county, a sum of money rot
exceeding thirty dollars each for the support and maintenance of
Dorothy Howel and Susanna Atcherson; and the sum of thirty
dollars each, for the maintenance and support of Evan Evans,
Parmelia Howard, Emma Dove and George Lindsay; and that the
same be collected annually by the collector of Prince George's
county, and by him paid to the said persons respectively or to their

Margaret Duvall, Elenor Day and Richard Dove and Delilah Hol-
land, and twenty dollars each, for the support and maintenance of
Priscilla Gootree, John Glover, Mordecai Chaney, Beal Stinchi-
comb, John Short, Louisa Hardisty, Sarah Medcalf, John Jones,
Elizabeth White, Ann Lambeth, Elizabeth Green, Sarah More,
Dorothy Journey and Mary Crowley, and that the same be collect-
ed annually by the collector of Anne-Arundel county, and by
him paid to the said persons respectively or to their several or-
ders.

CHAPTER 188.

An act to repeal all that part of the Constitution and Form of Go-
vernment as relates to the division of Dorchester county into five

separate election districts.
Sec. 1. Be it enacted By the General Assembly of Maryland, That
all that part of the constitution and form of government whereby
Dorchester county hath been divided and laid off into five sepa-
rate election districts be and the same is hereby repealed.
2. And be it enacted, That Dorchester county shall be di-
vided into six separate election districts.
3. And be it enacted, That if this act shall be confirmed by
the general assembly of Maryland, after the next election of dele-
gates, in the first session after such new election, as the constitution
