232. An act authorising William G. Nicholson, Register
of Wills, for Caroline county, to have rebound certain record
books in his office.

233. An act to make valid and effectual the devise
and provisions contained in the last will and testament of
Thomas Shields, deceased, for the benefit of the first Baptist.
Church of Philadelphia.

234. An act to incorporate the Hazlewood Coal Company.

235. An act to lay out and establish a new election district
in Dorchester county, to be called election district No. 12, or
Williamsburg District.

236. An act entitled, an act to appoint an additional Con-
stable in election district No. 4, in Somerset county.

237. An act to exempt the Parsonage property now belong-
ing to the Methodist Protestant Church, situated in Union
town, Carroll county, from taxation.

238. An act further amendatory of an act passed January
session, 1854, chapter 156, entitled, an act for the relief of
the sureties on the bonds of William Lyles, of Thomas, for-
mer collector of the third collection district of Prince George's
county.

239. An act to incorporate the trustees of the Central
School, in Frederick county.

240. A supplement to an act entitled, an act to incorporate
a company to make a turnpike road from Hagerstown in
Washington county, to the Pennsylvania line, passed De-
cember session, 1846, chapter 333.

241. An act to authorise the Mayor and City Council of
Baltimore, to cause a new assessment to be made of the pro-
perty in that city.

242. An act to provide for the election of an additional
Supervisor of public roads, in the first election district in
Worcester county.

243. An act to prevent certain nuisances within the limits
of the corporation of the town of Havre de Grace, in Harford
county, and to grant to the commissioners of said town more
ample powers in the abatement thereof.

244. An act to compensate James Revell, for professional
services rendered the State, as counsel in the matter of the
application of Joseph Christie, for a habeas corpus, by ap-
pointment of the Governor.
