State; and whenever any person or persons shall
profess or hold himself, herself or themselves out
as agent for more than one corporation, individual
corporation, he she or they shall, upon proof of
said holding out, he held and adjudged guilty
of, and both for as many separate offers under the
laws as there are or may be individual associations
or corporations professed or held out to be repre-
sented by him.

Repealed.
|
SEC. 9. And be it enacted, That the act of As-
sembly passed at December session, eighteen hun-
dred and forty-six, chapter three hundred and
fifty-seven, entitled, "an act relating to foreign
corporations and their agencies in this State,"
providing for the granting of licenses to insurance
companies not incorporated by the State, be and

the same is hereby repealed; Provided however,
that all rights acquired by the State under said
act are hereby expressly reserved, and that noth-
ing in this act contained shall prevent the enforc-
ing of the penalties incurred by persons who may
have heretofore violated said act.

Provisions of
act to apply.
|
SEC. 10. And be it enacted, That the provisions
of this act shall not apply to the agents of any
corporation, association or individual to whom a
license has been granted under the act of eighteen
hundred and forty-six, chapter three hundred and
fifty-seven, until the expiration of said existing
license.

In force.
|
SEC. 11. And be it enacted, That this act shall
take effect from the date of its passage.
|
