General Assembly, due notice of which, signed by
one of the Commissioners of Primary Schools of
Anne Arundel county, shall be given at least ten
days prior thereto, and set up at two of the most
public places within said district.

SEC. 5. And be it enacted, That all acts of As-
sembly which are inconsistent with the provisions
of this act, be and the same are hereby repealed.

CHAPTER 396.

Repealed.

AN ACT to incorporate the Mutual Fire Insu-
rance Company of St. Mary's and Charles
counties.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-
bly of Maryland, That William B. Stone, Walter
Mitchell, Josias H. Hawkins, John Hamilton,
George P. Jenkins, James H. Neal, George
Brent, Frederick Stone, Samuel Cox, George
Dent, William B. Matthews, Francis W. Weems,
Barnes Compton, Pembroke A. Brawner, Uzziel
Nally, John W. Jenkins, Francis R. Wills,
Elijah Day, William Boswell, Peregrine Davis,
Chapman Billingsley, John W. Broom, Caleb
Jones, John J. Allebone, William E. Cole,
George H. Morgan, William Henry Thomas,
William Coad, Thomas B. Slye, William 0.
Reeder, Joseph Shunnell, Francis C. Neale, L.
W. B. Hutchins, Albert Burch, Daniel Wash-
ington, E. Lee Spaulding, George C. Morgan,
George Coombs, Joseph Forrest and Benjamin
G. Harris, and their successors, and all other
persons who may hereafter become members of
the corporation to be created by this act, are
hereby created and declared to be a body politic
and corporate, by the name, style and title of
the Mutual Fire Insurance Company of St.
Mary's and Charles counties, and by the same
name shall have succession, and shall be able to
sue and be sued, implead and be impleaded, an-
