LAWS OF MARYLAND.

any person having any interest therein, and a fur-
ther sum of one half per cent, per month interest,
from the time of sale to the time of such tender,
which sums so paid shall be by the Auditor de-
livered or tendered to the purchaser, whose right
in the property so purchased shall thereupon cease
and determine.

On State Taxes

lowed.

SEC. 4. And be it enacted, That for all State
Taxes collected by the Auditor and paid over to
the Treasurer of the State of Maryland, the Audi-
tor shall be allowed to deduct from the same, ten
per cent, commission as a compensation for collect-
ing the same, as well as five hundred dollars per
annum for one clerk, payable monthly.

Repealed.

SEC. 5. And be it enacted, That so much of the
fourth section of an act, passed by the General
Assembly of Maryland, at January session, eigh-
teen hundred and fifty-two, chapter seventy-five,
as relates to the city of Baltimore, and the same
is hereby repealed, and that all acts or parts of
acts inconsistent with the provisions of this act,
be and the same are hereby repealed.

In force.

SEC. 6. And be it enacted, That this act shall
take effect from the day of its passage.

CHAPTER 370.

AN ACT to regulate the attendance of the Reg-
ister of Wills for Anne Arundel county.

tendance at his

of Wills.

SECTION 1. He it enacted by the General Assem-
bly of Maryland, That the Register of Wills for
Anne Arundel county shall attend in his office
on every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday,
unless prevented by sickness, accident or neces-
sity, for the dispatch of business.

Repealed.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That section tenth,
of the act of seventeen hundred and ninety-five,
chapter fifty-five, requiring the Register of Wills
to attend in his office every Tuesday and Satur-
day, be and the same is hereby repealed so far as
relates to Anne Arundel county.
