AN ACT to appropriate a sum of money to pay
Nathaniel Duke, late clerk of the Circuit Court
of Calvert county, for certain fees due him by
the State.

SECTION. 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-
bly of Maryland, That the Treasurer, upon the
warrant of the Comptroller, he and he is hereby
authorised and directed to pay to the order of
Nathaniel Duke, late clerk of the Circuit Court
of Calvert county, the sum of eighty-six dollars
and thirty cents, being the amount due him from
the State, for the years eighteen hundred and
fifty-six and fifty-seven.

bly of Maryland, That Solomon Philips, George
M. Taylor, James Munroe, William H. Thomp-
son, Thomas Ireland, George Taylor, Thomas J.
Wilson, A. Randall, William H. Tuck, James
Murray, A. B. Hagner and Frank H. Stockett,
of the city of Annapolis, and their associates,
successors and assigns, be and they are hereby
incorporated and made a body politic and corpor-
