and shares; but nothing herein contained shall be
construed to give the said Company banking privi-
leges; and the said Company shall establish an
office in the city of Annapolis or of Baltimore.

SEC. 4. And be it enacted, That the General
Assembly, reserves the right at all times to modify
or repeal the charter herein granted; this act to
take effect and be in force from and after its
passage.

CHAPTER 261.

Reservation.

AN ACT for the relief of Henry M. Fitzhugh,
Administrator de bonis non of Colonel William
Fitzhugh.

10, 1858.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-
bly of Maryland, That the claims of the adminis-
trator de bonis non of Colonel William Fitzhugh,
under resolution No. 10, of November session,
seventeen hundred and ninety-one, and the reso-
lution of January session, eighteen hundred and
fifty-six, in relation the same, be and the same
is hereby referred to the Governor, Comptroller
and Treasurer, or any two of them, for examina-
tion; and the said officers, or any two of them,
shall report to the next General Assembly of
Maryland whether any evidence exists that the
said claim has ever been paid.

Claim referred.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall
take effect from its passage.
