fect and endure
for 30 years.

SEC. 5. And be it enacted, That this of incor-
poration shall go into effect and endure for thirty
years from its passage, and that the Legislature
reserves to itself the right to alter and amend
this act of incorporation at pleasure.

AN ACT appropriating a sum of money for the
payment of the claims of Alward Johnson,
Richard Brashears, James Campbell, James H.
League and L. G. Taylor.

priated.
|
SECTION. 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-
bly of Maryland, That the sum of one hundred
and ninety-one dollars and six cents, be and is
hereby appropriated for the payment of the
claims of Alward Johnson, for one day's services
for enforcing the oyster law in Dorchester coun-
ty; for the payment of Richard Brashears, for
two mahogany desks furnished the Senate, and
for repairing chairs; for the payment of James
Campbell, for balance due for services; for the
payment of James H. League, for sixteen fluid
lamps furnished the House of Delegates; for the
payment of L. G. Taylor, for articles furnished
the General Assembly, from the years eighteen
hundred and forty-two to eighteen hundred and
forty-nine.

thorised to pay.
|
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the treasurer
on the warrant of the Comptroller, be and he is
hereby authorised and required to pay Alward
Johnson, twenty-five dollars; to Richard Bra-
shears, forty-five dollars and seventy-five cents ;
to James Campbell, eight dollars; to James H.
League, eighty dollars; to L. G. Taylor, thirty-
two dollars and thirty one cents.

SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That this act shall
take effect from the date of its passage.
