CHAPTER 226.

Passed March
2, 1858.

AN ACT to authorise Levin M. Wilson to settle
his accounts as guardian to Curtis A. Russel,
and deliver over the estate to his said ward.

Preamble.

WHEREAS, it is represented to this General As-
sembly of Maryland, That Curtis A. Russel, a
minor, is a steady and industrious youth, of
the age of twenty years, who having contract-
ed for some real estate, and has no means of
paying for the same, except by his property in
the hands of Levin M. Wilson, his guardian ;
And whereas, the said guardian and the said
minor are anxious that he may receive all his
property, and he allowed to act as a man of full
age, with reference thereto; Therefore,

pass final ac-
count.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-
bly of Maryland, That Levin M. Wilson, guar-
dian to Curtis A. Russel, a minor, be and he is
hereby authorised to pass his final account as
guardian, before the Orphans' Court, of Somer-
set county, and to pay over and deliver to the
said Curtis A. Russel, all property and money
that may be due to him on the said final account,
and take his release for the same, which shall
be acknowledged and recorded in the office of
Register of Wills of said county, and have the
same effect as if the same were executed by a
person of full age.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the said court,
in making said settlement, and passing said ac-
count, shall allow the said Levin M. Wilson for
all moneys bona fide paid by him to and for the
use of said Curtis A. Russel, and for liabilities
assumed and entered into by him, for and on his
account, up to the time of said settlement with

the said court; Provided, the said court shall
deem the same reasonable.

Answerable
for liabilities.

SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That from and after
the passage of this act, the said Curtis A. Rus-
sel shall be answerable for all debts, contracts
and liabilities made and entered into by him, and
may sue and be sued, as fully as if he were of
full age.
