SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the sheriff of
said county shall have six months from the time
of receiving such fees, to collect and pay over the
same.

SEC. 3. And, be it enacted, That so much of the
eleventh section of the act of seventeen hundred
and seventy-nine, chapter twenty-five, as is incon-
sistent with the provisions of this act, be and the
same is hereby repealed.

SEC. 4. And be it enacted, That the provisions
of this act shall also apply to the Clerk of the
Circuit Court for Prince George's county, and to
the sheriff of the same county in the same manner
as it applies to the clerk and sheriff of Washing-
ton county respectively.

SEC 5. And be, it enacted, That this act shall
take effect from and after the date of its passage.

AN ACT to amend and explain an act, passed at
January session eighteen hundred and fifty-six,
chapter one hundred and nineteen, entitled an
act, for the relief of the sureties on the official
bond of Thomas H. Osborn, of Charles, for-
mer collector for the third election district of
Prince George's county.

WHEREAS, it appears to this General Assembly,
that the act passed at January session eighteen
hundred and fifty-six, chapter one hundred and
nineteen, was designed to afford relief to
Thomas H. Osborn, of Charles, therein named,
as well as to the sureties on his official bond as
collector of taxes as therein set forth, and there
exists a doubt whether said act doth effect that
intent; Therefore,
