twenty thousand dollars; to the cost of filing
and recording in the Court of Appeals, as re-
quired by the Constitution, the laws and resolu-
tions which have been or may be passed at the
present session, three hundred and fifty dollars;
to the expense of indexing the laws, journals and
public documents of the two Houses of the Gene-
ral Assembly, seven hundred dollars; to the ex-
pense of distributing the laws, journals and docu-
ments to the clerks of the several courts, one hun-
dred and fifty dollars; to the holder or holders of
coupons or certificates of interest in arrear which
which were not funded under the provisions of
chapter two hundred and thirty-eight, of eighteen
hundred and forty-six, five thousand dollars; to
the Librarian for compensation in pursuance of
resolution number twelve, of eighteen hundred
and thirty-three, seventy-five dollars; for pur-
chase of fuel for the State House twelve hundred
dollars; to Samuel Tyler, one of the commission-
ers to revise and simplify the proceedings of
courts, &c., four thousand dollars; to William
Price, one of the commissioners aforesaid, four

thousand dollars; Provided, that said sums of
money shall be received by said commissioners in
full liquidation of all claims for their services per-
formed or to be performed by virtue of their ap-
pointment under article three, section seventeen,
of the Constitution; for the payment of printing
the reports of Otho Scott and Hiram McCullough,
commissioners to codify the laws to be presented
to the session of the General Assembly, two thou-
sand dollars.

Proviso.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the Treasurer
of the State shall, upon the warrant of the Comp-
troller of the Treasury Department, disburse the
said sums of money hereinbefore appropriated for
the objects and purposes specified to or upon the
order of the person or persons, bodies politic or
corporate, severally entitled thereto; and the
several public officers to whom the same or any
part thereof may be paid, shall render quarterly
to the Comptroller accounts of the expenditure
thereof, with the proper vouchers thereof, veri-
fied by affidavit, excepting such part thereof as
may be disbursed out of the Executive contingent
fund upon the order of the Governor, and such
