for the salary of the Judge of the Criminal Court
for Baltimore city, two thousand dollars; for the
salary of the Judge of the sixth Judicial Circuit,
two thousand dollars; for the salary of the Judge
of the seventh Judicial Circuit, two thousand dol-
lars; for the salary of the Judge of the eighth
Judicial Circuit, two thousand dollars; for the
salary of the Librarian, one thousand dollars; for
the salary of the private Secretary of the Execu-
tive, eight hundred dollars; to the Clerks of the
Comptroller of the Treasury Department, one
thousand nine hundred dollars; to the Clerk to
the Treasurer of Maryland, one thousand two
hundred dollars; to the State Agricultural Chem-
ist, two thousand dollars; to the Commissioners
of Public Works, two hundred dollars, each,
eight hundred dollars; to the Sheriff and Messen-
ger of the Court of Appeals, one thousand two
hundred dollars; to the State subscription to two
hundred copies of two volumes of the Reports of
the decisions of the Court of Appeals, two thou-
sand dollars; to the State Reporter, five hundred
dollars; to the Maryland Penitentiary for so
much on account of the salaries of its officers,
eight thousand dollars; for the Maryland Peni-
tentiary, thirty thousand dollars, said sum to be
payable after the first day of May next; to Afri-
can Colonization, five thousand dollars; to the
Adjutant General of Maryland Militia, five hun-
dred dollars; to the Armorer at Frederick, three
hundred dollars; to the Armorer at Easton, three
hundred dollars; to the State Tobacco Inspectors
in Baltimore, including the salaries of the In-
spectors of Tobacco, and their Clerks and con-
tingent expenses, including insurance, twenty-
three thousand five hundred dollars; to donations
to Colleges, Academies and Schools, twenty-one
thousand four hundred dollars, to the payment
of the several sums of the money to be distri-
buted among the counties according to law,
for the use of Free Schools, including bonus
from Bank dividends, from Bank stock standing
to the credit of the School Fund, and so much of
the tax on passengers on the Washington Branch
of the Baltimore and Ohio Rail Road, as has been
substituted for the surplus revenues, sixty-three
thousand five hundred and sixty-eight dollars and
