SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall
take effect from the day of its passage.

CHAPTER 216.

AN ACT to incorporate the Green Spring Avenue
Company.

Preamble.

WHEREAS, it has been represented to this General
Assembly, by many of the inhabitants of the
Third Election District of Baltimore county and
others, that additional highways leading to the
city are much required for the public conve-
nience in that part of the county, and that an
avenue leading from North Avenue to Green
Spring Valley would greatly promote that con-
venience; Therefore,

Incorporated.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That a Company be incorporated to
make a Turnpike Road, beginning for the centre
of said avenue at a point on the north west side of
North Avenue between Madison Lane and Jones'
Falls, thence through the intervening lands to the
north west side of Newington Lane at the point
where the division line between Lloyd N. Rogers
and Mrs. Croft intersect said lane, thence with
said division line to the end thereof, thence
through said Rogers' land to the land owned by
Mrs. Thomas R, Mathews, thence through said
Mathews' land to C. B. Key worth's land, thence
through said land to F. Meyers' land, thence
through his land to John Greacen's land, thence
through his land to the land belonging to Adam
Welsh's Heirs, thence through said land to Ed-
win Harvy's land, thence through his land to John
Fattle's land, thence through his land to the di-
viding line between him and Kitty Hook, thence
with said line to the division line between Thomas
