of June, seventeen hundred and eighty-six is
erroneously stated to run south fifty-two de-
grees, east thirty-two perches; the true course
being south fifty-two degrees, west thirty-two
perches according to the original plat thereof
on file in the Land Office of this State; There-
fore,
|
|
|
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-
bly of Maryland, That the Commissioner of the
Land Office he and he is hereby authorised to make
such corrections in the courses and distances or
outlines of the said tract of land, both in the ori-
ginal certificate of survey thereof, and the patent
issued thereupon as shall make the same corres-
pond with the courses and distances or outlines as
shown by the original plat of the said tract of

land filed in the Land Office; Provided, that said
corrections when made shall not have the effect to
divest or impair the right or title of any owner of
adjoining land claiming under grant from the
State issued since the date of the aforesaid patent
for said tract of land.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this act
shall take effect from and after the day of its
passage.

AN ACT entitled, an act to defray the expenses
of publications made under and by virtue of
the act of Assembly, of eighteen hundred and
fifty-six, chapter sixteen.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-
bly of Maryland, That the sum of four thousand
five hundred dollars, or so much thereof as may
be necessary, be and the same is hereby appro-
priated to pay the expenses incurred in publish-
ing a list of persons in default to the State as
