AN ACT, amendatory of an act, entitled an act
to provide for the formation of corporations for
Moral, Scientific, Dramatic, Agricultural or
Charitable purposes, &c, passed May thirteenth,
eighteen hundred and fifty-two, chapter two
hundred and thirty-one.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-
bly of Maryland, That the Church Home and In-
firmary of the city of Baltimore, a corporation
incorporated in the city of Baltimore, under the
act of eighteen hundred and fifty-two, chapter two
hundred and thirty-one, he hereby declared capa-
ble of receiving, recovering, holding and enjoying
all property, real, personal or mixed, which may
have been heretofore given to it, or which it may
hereafter acquire by gift, devise, bequest or other-

wise; Provided, that the amount of property, so
acquired and held, shall not exceed the sum or
value of two hundred and fifty thousand dollars.
|
|
|

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall
take effect from its passage.

AN ACT to authorise the Commissioner of the
Land Office to make such correction in the
courses or outlines of the tract of land called
"Love in a Village," both in the original certi-
ficate of survey, and in the patent thereof, as
shall make the same correspond with the origi-
nal plat on file in said office.

Preamble.
|
WHEREAS, the fifth line of the tract of land called
"Love in a Village" as set forth in the original
certificate of survey and the patent issued there-
upon to David Mitchell on the thirtieth day
|
