erected in the city of Baltimore, North Gray street,
tor the use of the Grand Division of the State of
Maryland, of the order of the Sons of Temper-
ance, and the ground and the appurtenances thereto
attached, be and the same are hereby released
from taxation.

SBC. 2. And be it enacted, That the taxes now
due on said Temple or Building, be and the same
are hereby released.

SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That it shall be the
duty of the said corporation, to report to the Leg-
islature, within ten days after the commencement
of each session of the General Assembly, the
amount of property, real and personal, belonging
to said corporation, and of the debts due to and
from said corporation, and the purposes for which
disbursements shall have been made.

AN ACT to increase the salary of the clerk of
the Commissioners of Washington county.
|

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-
bly of Maryland, That from and after the passage
of this act, the compensation of the clerk of the
commissioners of Washington county, shall be
such sum annually as the said Board of Commis-
sioners may in their discretion direct and allow,
not less however, than the sum of five hundred
dollars; to be levied, collected and paid as other
county charges.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the seventh
section of the act of eighteen hundred and twenty-
nine, chapter twenty-one, entitled an act to pro-
vide for electing commissioners for Washington
county, and prescribing their powers and duties
be and the same is hereby repealed.
