CHAPTER 177.

AN ACT amendatory of an act, passed January
Session, eighteen hundred and fifty-four, chap-
ter one hundred and seventy-nine, entitled an
act for the relief of Robert Wright and sureties,
former collector of the first collection district
of Prince George's county.

5, 1858.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-
bly of Maryland, That the time limited by the first
section of the act to which this is amendatory, in
which Robert Wright, former collector for the first
collection district of Prince George's county, is re-
quired to make payment of the State debt against
him, be and it is hereby extended to the first day
of November next, and in case the said Robert
Wright, shall pay or cause to be paid the amount
due for principal on the judgments in the Circuit
Court for Prince George's county, with such in-
terest as the said Wright or his securities have
or may hereafter receive from tax payers, in favor
of the State, against himself and his sureties,
with all costs which have accrued within the time
limited by this act, he and they shall be entitled
to all and singular the benefits of the provisions
of the aforesaid act, to which this is amendatory.

Time extended.

SEC. 2. And be if, enacted, That this act shall
take effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 178.

In force.

AN ACT to amend the act entitled, an act for
clearing out Pocomoke river, in Worcester
county, by means of a Lottery, passed at De-
cember session, eighteen hundred and forty,
chapter two hundred and fifteen, and to repeal
the several supplements thereto.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-
bly of Maryland, That Zadok P. Henry, Seth M.
