Company, whether it be before or after, or during
the location and construction of the main stem of
the said Elkton and Sassafras river Railroad, or
whether the said main stem be constructed at all,
and for that purpose to have all the powers, ad-
vantages and privileges, which are conferred by
the said original act on the said Company, for the
purposes therein mentioned.

AN ACT to exempt certain persons from serving
as Jurors.

serving as ju-
rors.
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-
bly of Maryland, That all persons in the State of
Maryland over seventy years of age be, and they
are hereby exempt and relieved from serving as
jurors, in all cases.

|
SBC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall
take effect from and after the date of its passage.

AN ACT to refund to William H. Worthington
and Thomas B. Hobbs, the several sums of
money erroneously paid into the Treasury by
the said parties, as tax on their respective offi-
