CHAPTER 124.

AN ACT to authorise the County Commission-
ers of Cecil county, to build a bridge at or near
Elk Landing, over little Elk Creek.
|
|
|

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-
bly of Maryland, That the County Commissioners
of Cecil county be, and they are hereby autho-
rised and empowered, if in their discretion they
shall deem it expedient, to build a bridge over lit-
tle Elk Creek, at Elk Landing in Cecil county,
above the present wharves, or at any point be-
tween Elk Landing and the Railroad bridge, where
the tide ebbs and flows, and the said bridge to
keep in repair and rebuild at pleasure, also to levy
on the assessable property of the said county, a
sum or sums of money sufficient for the construc-
tion, repair or renewal of said bridge.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall
have effect from and after its passage.

AN ACT amendatory of an act passed at Decem-
ber session, eighteen hundred and forty-two,
entitled, an act to regulate the expenses of
Prince George's county.
|
|
|
Repealed.
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General As-
sembly of Maryland, That so much of the act
passed at December session, eighteen hundred and
forty-two, chapter 188, as relates to the fees of
the sheriff of Prince George's county, be, and
the same is hereby repealed.

|
|
In force.
|
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, This act shall be in
force from its passage.
|
