CHAPTER 102.

AN ACT entitled, an act to change the name of
Wesley Fremont Davis, of Montgomery county,
to Wesley Reid Davis.

Passed Febru-
ary 23, 1858.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-
bly of Maryland, That the name of Wesley Fre-
mont Davis, of Montgomery county, be and the
same is hereby changed to Wesley Reid Davis,
and that it shall be lawful for the said Wesley
Fremont Davis, at all times hereafter, to be called
and known by, and hold and use the name of
Wesley Reid Davis, and by that name to hold,
receive, purchase, sell, convey, devise or receive
property hereafter devised, and to sue and be sued,
plead and be impleaded, in any court of law or
equity.

Name changed.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall
take effect from and after the day of its passage.

CHAPTER 103.

In force.

AN ACT to incorporate the Columbia and Port
Deposit Rail Road Company.

Passed Febru-
ary 20, 1858.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-
bly of Maryland, That Jacob Tome, J. J. Heck-
art, Edwin Wilmer, J. H. Rowland, Andrew
Lyon, Jesse R. Coulson, Alien Anderson, Joseph
B. Preston, Richard D. Hall, Absalom Roman,
Chalkley B. Cutler, William M. Moore, John P.
Vannerman and Edwin J. Rinehart, be and they
are hereby appointed Commissioners, under the
direction of whom subscriptions may be received
to the capital stock of the Columbia and Port De-
posit Railroad Company, hereby incorporated, and
they or a majority of them may cause books to be
opened at such times and places as they may di-
rect, for the purpose of receiving subscriptions to
the said capital stock of said Company, after having
