LAWS OF MARYLAND.

ty, to an amount not exceeding twenty thousand
dollars, in sums of not less than one hundred dol-
lars, bearing interest at the rate of six per cent,
per annum, and redeemable and payable at a
period not exceeding ten years from the date of
their issue; which said bonds shall be delivered
to the board of Commissioners appointed by this
act, to be by them negotiated upon such terms
and conditions as to them may seem reasonable,
and the proceeds and avails thereof to be used in
payment for building said Court House and offi-
ces, and of the bonds hereby authorised to be is-
sued, and that the interest on said bonds shall be
payable semi-annually, and that the bonds afore-
said shall be exempt from taxation.

Commission-
ers to provide a
suitable place.

SEC. 9. And be it enacted, That the county
Commissioners of Harford county, be and they
are hereby authorised and empowered to procure
a suitable place for the holding of the Circuit
Court for Harford county, and for the accommo-
dation of jurors and other public officers, until
such time as the Court House mentioned in this
act shall be completed.

To render an
account of ex-
penses.

SEC. 10. And be it enacted, That it shall be
the duty of the Commissioners appointed by this
act, whenever, and as often as they shall be re-
quired by the county Commissioners of Harford
county, to render an account of their expendi-
tures, and make a full report to said county
Commissioners of all their proceedings in the
premises.

In force.

SEC. 11. And be it enacted, That this act shall
take effect from the day of its passage.
