SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That nothing in
this act contained, shall he so construed as to ap-
ply to the city of Annapolis, now known and de-
signated as Primary School District, number thir-
ty-eight, of said county.

SEC. 4. And be it enacted, That this act shall
take effect from and after the date of its passage.

AN ACT allowing a pension to Susanna Sibert,
widow of the late David Sibert, a private sol-
dier in the Revolutionary war, also of the war
of eighteen hundred and twelve; and appro-
priating a sum of money for the payment
thereof.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-
bly of Maryland, That Susanna Sibert, of Alle-
gany county, widow of David Sibert, late of said
county, a private soldier in the American Revolu-
tion, be and she is hereby allowed a pension of
thirty dollars per annum, commencing on the
third day of February, in the year eighteen hun-
dred and fifty-three, and to continue during her
natural life; in consideration of the services of her
late husband in said war.

priated.
|
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the sum of
one hundred and fifty dollars, from the third day
of February, eighteen hundred and fifty-three,
to the third day of February, eighteen hundred
and fifty-eight, is hereby appropriated; and the
Treasurer upon the warrant of the Comptroller,
is hereby directed to pay the said sum of one hun-
dred and fifty-dollars, to the said Susanna Sibert,
or her order or her attorney.

act shall take effect from the date of its passage.
