TITLES OF THE RESOLUTIONS.

1. Commendatory of Dr. Elisha Kent Kane.

2. In favor of Thomas Jefferson Godman, the representative
ot Samuel Godman, an officer of the Maryland line during the
revolutionary war; authorising the grant to him of two hun-
dred acres of vacant land, lying to the westward of Fort Cum-
berland, in Allegany county.

3. Authorising the Librarian to subscribe for two hundred
copies of Merrick, Stockett and Miller's Digest of the Debisions
of the Court of Appeals, and of the Court of Chancery.

4. Authorising the Adjutant General to furnish Captain Jos-
eph H. Tucker fifty muskets, from the quota due the State from
the General Government, for the year eighteen hundred and fifty
ty-six.

5. Authorising the Governor to furnish Dr. Ferdinand Diffen-
back, of the Manchester Independent Academy, with sixty mus-
kets.

6. Authorising the Adjutant General to furnish to the order
of Captain James M. Schley, of the Allegany Guards, fifty knap-
sacks, &c.

7. Authorising the Librarian to subscribe for three hundred
copies of the Maryland Register for eighteen hundred and fifty-
six and eighteen hundred and fifty-seven.

8. Relative to the advance by the State of Maryland to the
