293. An act amendatory of an act to incorporate Chesapeake
City, in Cecil county, passed March the first, eighteen hundred
and fifty, chapter two hundred and seventy-one.

294. Ah act to secure the payment of debts contracted for ma-
terials furnished, or work done, in the building, repairing, or
equipping of canal boats, or vessels of any kind, used or intend-
ed to be used as carriers of coal, other freight, or passengers, on
the Chesapeake and Ohio Canal, by subjecting the boat or vessel,
to which the debt appertains, to a lien of such debt.

295. An act to authorise Henry Weast and Christian Dagen-
hart, trustees, to convey certain properly to certain persons, as
trustees of the United Brethern in Christ.

296. An act amendatory of an act to incorporate the Baltimore
Steam Packet Company, by authorising said company to make
contracts for breaking tracks through the ice.

297. A supplement to an act entitled, an act to provide for
the speedy collection of State and County Taxes in Baltimore
county, and for other purposes, passed at January session, eigh-
teen hundred and fifty-four, chapter one hundred and thirty-nine.

298. An act to provide for the formation of corporations for
the building of railroads in St. Mary's county.

299. An act requiring Joshua H. Hynes, Samuel P. Storm,
and Pleasant Hunter, late Sheriffs of Baltimore county, to make
to the Comptroller a statement of the amount of state taxes due
from them, and to pay the same into the treasury, at such times,
and in such conditions as are herein provided.

300. An act further supplemental to the act of December ses-
sion, eighteen hundred and twenty-seven, chapter one hundred
and eleven, entitled an act to regulate sales by public auction.

301. An act to alter the district line between the first and se-
cond districts of Baltimore county.

302. An act to give the leave of the Legislature to the devises
and bequest of Ann P. White, late of Worcester county, de-
ceased, for the receipt of Pill's Creek congregation, or Presbyte-
rian Church, and of the Methodist Episcopal Church, in said
county.

303. An act to incorporate the Potomac Iron and Bridge Com-
pany.

304. An act for the relief of the heirs at law of John Cochran,
late or New Castle county, in the State of Delaware, deceased,
and to authorise the delivery of a certain deed therein mentioned.

Thomas F. W. Vinson, collector of the fourth election district of
Montgomery county.
