and to cede to the United States the jurisdiction of the State of

rick county, at their discretion, to levy a sum of money to con-
struct a bridge across Tom's Creek in Frederick county.

209. An act amendatory of the act to incorporate the Bank of
Commerce, passed January session, 1854, chapter 235, and to in-
crease the capital stock of said bank to one million of dollars.
