RESOLUTIONS.

fifty-six, upon his giving security for their safe keep-
ing and return when required by the State.

10, 1856.

Resolution authorising the Governor to furnish Dr.
Ferdinand Diffenbach, of the Manchester Indepen-
dent Academy, with sixty muskets, &c.

Be it resolved by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the Governor be and he is hereby autho-
rised, to furnish Dr. Ferdinand Diffenbach, of the
Manchester Academy, with sixty muskets, or their
equivalent in arms; Provided, ample security be giv-
en for the safe return of the same, whenever required
by the proper authorities.

Resolution authorising the Adjutant General to fur-
nish to the order of Captain James M. Schley, of
the Allegany Guards, fifty knapsacks, &c.

Be it resolved by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the Adjutant General be and he is hereby
directed to furnish to the order of Captain James M.
Schley, of the Allegany Guards, fifty knapsacks, by
his giving satisfactory security for their safe keeping
and return.
