their successors in office or a majority of them, be
and they are also hereby authorised and empowered
to convey by a good and sufficient deed to the pur-
chaser or purchasers, the said lot of ground and
premises hereinbefore mentioned and described upon
the receipt of the purchase money if sold for cash or
upon the receipt of the bond of the purchaser or
purchasers with such security as they or a majority of
them shall approve if sold on credits.

SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That this act
shall take effect and go into operation from the day
of its passage.

AN ACT to refund to Robert G. Price, former col-
lector of Queen Anne's county, the several sums
of money therein named, being an overpayment
of State taxes in the Treasury.
|
|
|
Treasurer to
pay.
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That the Treasurer of the State, be
and he is hereby directed to pay over upon the war-
rant of the Comptroller to Robert G. Price or order,
the sum of two hundred and six dollars and thirty-
two cents, and the further sum of eighteen dollars
and seven cents, for over payment of taxes into the
Treasury as former collector of State tax for Queen
Anne's county, being the amount allowed by the
county commissioners for insolvencies and removals.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall
take effect from the date of its passage.
