CHAPTER 295.

AN ACT to authorise Henry Weast and Christian

Dagenhart, trustees, to convey certain property to
certain persons as trustees of "The United Breth-
ren in Christ."

Passed Mar.
1, 1856.

WHEREAS, it is represented to this General Assembly,
that Daniel Christian and wife, by deed duly exe-
cuted, acknowledged and recorded in Liber. N. N.,
one of the land record books of Washington county,
conveyed the property therein specified, to certain
persons as trustees, for the United Brethren in
Christ; and whereas, said trustees are all dead or
non-residents, except Henry Weast and Christian
Dagenhart; and whereas, the said church known as
the United Brethren in Christ is desirous of having
said property conveyed to its duly elected trustees
under its recent incorporation; therefore,

Preamble.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That Henry Weast and Christian Da-
genhart, surviving trustees named in a deed executed
by a certain Daniel Christian, and wife to Conrad Da-
genhart, Henry Weast, George Geeting, junior and
Christian Dagenhart, and recorded in Liber. N. N.
folio 698 and 699, one of the land record books of
Washington county, be and they are hereby author-
ised to convey the property in said deed mentioned,
to George Keafauver, Joseph Dauner, Emanuel Da-
genhart, Lewis Watson and William Betts, duly
elected trustees of the United Brethren in Christ.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall
take effect from its passage.
