CHAPTER 214.

AN ACT to refund to William Lockerman, Collec-
tor of Caroline county, James E. Douglass, of
Dorchester county, and Silas Browning, Collector
of the first Election District of Montgomery coun-
ty, certain moneys over paid by them into the
Treasury of Maryland.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That the Treasurer, upon the warrant
of the Comptroller, is hereby authorised and required
to pay to William Lockerman, Collector of Caroline
county, forty-three dollars and eighty-one cents;
James E. Douglass, Collector of Dorchester county,
two hundred and thirty-four dollars and nineteen
cents; Silas Browning, of the first Election District
of Montgomery county, five dollars and ninety-two
cents, over paid by them into the Treasury.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take
effect from its passage.

AN ACT to authorise the building of a bridge over
the river Patapsco at Ferry Bar.
|

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-
bly of Maryland, That Richard Owens Crisp, of Anne
Arundel county, be and he is hereby authorised to
make and construct, and keep in repair at his own
expense a bridge over Patapsco River, from a point
on the North side of said river called Ferry Bar, to
such point on the South side of said river in Anne
Arundel county, as the said Richard Owens Crisp
may select; which said bridge shall be of the width
of not less than sixteen feet, and made of good and
substantial materials, with suitable abutments, and
railing on each side thereof.
