Constitution, which shall be recorded in the test book
of the Court of Appeals, on the second Wednesday of
January next ensuing his election, or as soon thereaf-
ter as may be practicable, between the hours of
twelve and two o'clock, P. M., in the Senate Cham-
ber, before the chief justice of the Court of Appeals,
or in case of his sickness, absence, or inability from
any other cause to attend, before one of the associate
justices of said court.

AN ACT to authorise the county commissioners of
Charles county, to levy a sum of money for the re-
pairs of the court house or said county.
|
|
|
Authorised to
levy.
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That the county commissioners of
Charles county be and they are hereby authorised to
levy upon the assessable property of Charles county,
such sum or sums of money as they mi\y deem neces-
sary, to be applied to the repairs of the court house of
said county, which repairs they are hereby authorised
to have made and completed under their directions,
or under the directions of such agent or agents as
they may appoint for that purpose; Provided always,
that the sum or suras of money hereby authorised to
be levied and raised, shall not exceed in the whole,
one thousand dollars.

To take effect.
|
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take
effect and be in force from the day of its final passage
by the Legislature.
