dered the State, by the appointment of the Governor,
in the prosecution of Robert Swift for the murder of
Jeremiah Kilhour.

Preamble.
|
WHEREAS, some errors have been discovered in the
description of the coupons referred to in the pre-
amble of the act to which this is a supplement;
and it is proper that the same should be corrected
in order that the owners of the said coupons at the
time of their loss, should receive the full benefit of
the act aforesaid, passed for their relief; There-
fore,

Provisions of
act to apply.
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That the provisions of the act to which
this is a supplement, shall be deemed and taken to
apply to the coupons following, alleged to have been
lost in the steamer Arctic, to wit: one coupon num-
ber seventy seven of bond number one hundred and
forty seven for the State's six per cent loan, under the
authority of the act of eighteen hundred and thirty
four, chapter two hundred and forty one, being for
fifteen dollars; interest on said loan due the first day
of October, in the year eighteen hundred and fifty
four, payable to I. I. Cohen, jr., & Brothers, or
bearer, and by them endorsed; also, fifty three other
coupons number seventy seven of Maryland State
Bonds, numbers two hundred and seventy one, two
hundred and seventy two, three hundred and twenty
four to three hundred and sixty five inclusive, four
