AN ACT to pay Mountjoy B. Luckett for services
rendered the State in the case of the State against
Basil Eves, of Frederick county, indicted for mur-
der.

Treasurer to
pay.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That the Treasurer is authorised and
directed to pay, upon the warrant of the Comptroller,
to Mountjoy B. Luckett, the sum of one hundred
dollars, for services rendered the State in the case of
the State against Basil Eves, indicted and tried for
murder before the Circuit Court, for Frederick coun-
ty.

In force.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take
effect from the date of its passage.

AN ACT to make valid and amend articles of incor-
poration of the Boys' School of St. Paul's Parish,
in the city of Baltimore, incorporated under the
act of eighteen hundred and forty-six, chapter
three hundred and twenty-three, entitled "an act
to authorise incorporations in certain cases."
