Senate Bill No. 6—By Senator Turnbull:

Subject: "BALTIMORE COUNTY", sub-heading "BORROWING
POWER", RELATING TO THE POWER OF BALTIMORE COUNTY
TO BORROW MONEY AND INCUR INDEBTEDNESS, ETC.

At 11:40 o'clock A. M. on motion of Mr. Turnbull, The Senate took
a recess until 12:00 o'clock noon.

AFTER RECESS
At 12:00 o'clock noon the Senate resumed its session.

INTRODUCTION OF RESOLUTION

Senate Resolution No. 1—By the President and Senators Bertorelli, Cole,
Dean, Della, Dempsey, DiDomenico, Downey, Flanagan, Friend,
Goodman, James, Jewell, Malkus, Mason, Mattingly, Monroe,
Nock, North, Northrop, Phipps, Phoebus, Ramsburg, Redden,
See, Shipley, Turnbull, Weinroth and Wheatley:

Senate Resolution congratulating the Honorable Janet Hoffman on the
occasion of her birthday.

The members of the Senate of Maryland have learned with much
pleasure that today is the birthday of the Honorable Janet Hoffman,
Administrative Analyst of the State Fiscal Research Bureau.

The Senate wishes to extend to Mrs. Hoffman its sincere good wishes
on this occasion and to remind the lady that the members of the General
Assembly, together with the Governor of Maryland, think so highly of
her services as to call a Special Session of the General Assembly in order
properly to observe the amenities of this occasion; now, therefore, be it

Resolved by the Senate of Maryland, That the sincere good wishes and
congratulations of this body be expressed to the Honorable Janet Hoffman,
