Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1956.

CHAPTER 71

(Senate Bill 151)

AN ACT legalizing the 1956 Supplement to the Annotated Code of
the Public General Laws of Maryland (1951 Edition), prepared
and published by the Editorial Staff of The Michie Company,
Charlottesville, Virginia, and making it evidence of the law.

Whereas, by Chapter 315 of the Acts of 1951, the General As-
sembly legalized and made evidence of the law, the 1951 Edition
of the Annotated Code of the Public General Laws of Maryland; and

Whereas, another Supplement to that Code, to be known as the
1956 Supplement to the Annotated Code of the Public General Laws
of Maryland (1951 Edition), is to be prepared and published by the
Editorial Staff of The Michie Company, Charlottesville, Virginia;
and

Whereas, this Supplement will contain the Public General Laws
enacted at the 1953, 1954, 1955 and 1956 Sessions of the General
Assembly, together with those Public General Laws of the 1952
Session which were set out in Appendix A at the end of Volume 3
of the 1951 Edition of the Annotated Code; now therefore

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That the 1956 Supplement to the Annotated Code of the Public
General Laws of Maryland (1951 Edition), prepared and published
by the Editorial Staff of The Michie Company, Charlottesville,
Virginia, be and the same is hereby legalized and made evidence
of the Public General Laws enacted at the 1953, 1954, 1955 and 1956
Sessions of the General Assembly of Maryland and of those Public
General Laws of the 1952 Session which were set out in Appendix
A at the end of Volume 3 of the 1951 Edition of the Annotated
Code of Maryland. It shall be deemed and taken as such in all the
Courts of the State and by all Justices of the Peace and Trial
Magistrates of the State and by all other public officials of the State.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1956.
