immediately after Section 255 thereof, relating to payments to
certain retired school teachers in Baltimore County.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That new Section 255A be and it is hereby added to the Code of Public
Local Laws of Baltimore County (1948 Edition), title "Baltimore
County", sub-title "Title 19. Pensions", sub-heading "School System",
to follow immediately after Section 255 thereof, and to read as fol-
lows:

255A. The County Commissioners of Baltimore County are hereby
authorized and directed to pay to each retired school teacher in Balti-
more County who has rendered thirty years of creditable service as a
school teacher in the public schools of Baltimore County, or
AND who
has been retired therefrom because of physical disability, an annual
sum of Two Thousand Dollars ($2,000) or a sum equal to forty per
centum (40%) of that sum which represents the highest average wage
received by such person during any ten (10) year period of service,
whichever sum is larger and such sum shall be computed to include
therein any sums payable to such person under the State Teachers'
Retirement System. No person shall be considered as having retired
because of physical disability unless and until such person shall have
been examined by a competent physician, who shall certify to the
County Commissioners the cause of such person's disability, and that
such person was unable to teach because of such physical disability.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1956.

AN ACT to add a new sub-section to Section 187 of Article 2B of the
Annotated Code of Maryland (1951 Edition and 1954 Supplement),
title "Alcoholic Beverages", sub-title "Penalties", said new section
to be known as Sub-section (d) and to follow immediately after
Sub-section (c) of said Section 187, providing for the manner in
which fines imposed under the provisions of Article 2B shall be
disposed of in Worcester County.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That a new sub-section be and it is hereby added to Section 187 of
Article 2B of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1951 Edition and
1954 Supplement), title "Alcoholic Beverages", sub-title "Penalties",
