(G) IN FREDERICK COUNTY, THE SUBSTITUTE TRIAL
MAGISTRATE SHALL RECEIVE A SALARY OF FIVE HUN-
DRED DOLLARS ($500.00) PER YEAR.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1955.

AN ACT to repeal Sections 426 to 440 inclusive, of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Baltimore County (1953 Supplement), title "Balti-
more County", sub-title "Title 31. Baltimore County Parking
Authority", abolishing the Baltimore County Parking Authority.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Sections 426 to 440 inclusive, of the Code of Public Local Laws
of Baltimore County (1953 Supplement), title "Baltimore County",
sub-title "Title 31. Baltimore County Parking Authority", be and they
are hereby repealed.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1955.

(Senate Bill 607)
AN ACT to repeal Section 10 of Article 13 of the Annotated Code of
Maryland (1951 Edition), title "Bills of Exchange and Promissory
Notes", sub-title "Legal Holidays", as said section was amended
by Chapter 97 of the Acts of 1955, and to enact a new Section 10
in lieu thereof, re-enacting without change the provisions of said
Chapter 97 of 1955 which extended the provisions of the so-called
Saturday closing law to banking institutions in Caroline and
Worcester Counties in order to remove any doubts as to the validity
of the title of said Chapter 97 of 1955.
WHEREAS, by Chapter 97 of the Acts of 1955, originating as Senate
Bill No. 170, the General Assembly amended Section 10 of Article 13
of the Code in order to remove Caroline County and Worcester County
from the list of counties to which said section does not apply, thereby
