SEC. 5. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect

(House Bill 649)
AN ACT to add a new section to Title 2 of the Code of Public Local
Laws of Baltimore County, 1948 Edition, entitled "Clerk of the
Court", sub-title "Recording and Indexing", said new section to be
known as Section 25A and to follow immediately after Section 25
of said title, requiring any person, firm or corporation offering for
recordation in the Clerk's Office of the Circuit Court for Baltimore
County any recordable instrument, to cause to be typed or printed
thereon the name and mailing address of the person, firm or corpo-
ration to whom or to which such instrument is to be mailed after
recordation, and authorizing the Clerk to charge an extra fee for
failure to comply with the requirement of this section.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That a new section be and it is hereby added to Title 2 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Baltimore County, 1948 Edition, entitled
"Clerk of the Court", sub-title "Recording and Indexing", said new
section to be known as Section 25A and to follow immediately after
Section 25 thereof, and to read as follows:
25A. Any person, firm or corporation offering for recordation in
the Clerk's Office of the Circuit Court for Baltimore County any deed,
mortgage, lease, agreement, conditional sales contract, or any other
recordable instrument, shall cause to be typed or printed thereon the
name and mailing address of the person, firm or corporation to whom
or to which such instrument is to be mailed after recordation. The
Clerk shall, in addition to the fee or charge now allowed by law,
charge One Dollar as an extra fee or charge for failure to comply with
the requirement of this section.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1955.
