CHAPTER 334
(House Bill 88)
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 19 of
Article 2 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1951 Edition), title
"Agents and factors," providing for an increase in the recording
and indexing fee of certificates of persons trading as agents and
factors.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 19 of Article 2 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1951
Edition), title "Agents and factors", be and it is hereby repealed and
re-enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:
19. The clerks of the Circuit Courts for the several counties and
the clerk of the Superior Court of Baltimore City shall each keep a
public docket, to be known as the "Agency Record", wherein shall be
recorded all certificates filed in accordance with the provisions of
the preceding section, properly indexed so as to disclose the name or
names of the real owner or owners of such business and the name,
title or designation under which the same is conducted, and shall
charge and receive a fee of [one dollar for recording and indexing
such certificates.] two dollars for recording such certificates and
twenty-five (25c) cents for each name to be indexed.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1955.

CHAPTER 335
(House Bill 133)
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 507C of
Article 12 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930
Edition), title "Garrett County," sub-title "Sunday Observance,"
as said section was enacted by Chapter 722 of the Acts of 1953,
changing the hours during which it shall be lawful to exhibit
motion pictures in Garrett County on Sundays.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 507C of Article 12 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
