SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1955.

CHAPTER 310
(Senate Bill 482)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 182 of
Article 18 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930
Edition), title "Queen Anne's County", sub-title "County Com-
missioners", revising the time of election and terms of office of the
County Commissioners of Queen Anne's County so to conform
to the Constitution of Maryland.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,

That Section 182 of Article 18 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Queen Anne's County", sub-title
"County Commissioners", be and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted,
with amendments, to read as follows:

182. At the general election to be held on the first Tuesday after
the first Monday of November, in the year nineteen hundred and
[eleven] fifty-eight, there shall be elected three County Commission-
ers for Queen Anne's County, and thereafter the number of County
Commissioners for said Queen Anne's County shall be three, and
there shall be elected at every general election held on the first Tues-
day after the first Monday in November in every [second] fourth
year thereafter three County Commissioners for Queen Anne's
County, and the County Commissioners so elected shall hold their
office for the term of [two] four years from the date of their election,
or until their successors shall be elected and qualified, and they shall
be eligible for re-election.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1955.
