SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 35 (a) of Article 66 1/2 of the Annotated Code of Mary-
land (1951 Edition), title "Motor Vehicles", sub-title "Administra-
tion—Registration—Titling", be and it is hereby repealed and re-
enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:
35. (Notice of Change of Address or Name.) (a) Whenever
any person after making application for or obtaining an operator's
or chauffeur's license or the registration of a vehicle or a certificate
of title shall move from the address named in the aplication or shown
upon the license, registration card or certificate of title, such person
shall within thirty (30) days thereafter notify the Department in
writing of his old and new addresses [, and forward the same for
correction] . The Department shall make the necessary corrections
without charge.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1955.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 255 of
Article 93 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1951 Edition), title
"Testamentary Law", sub-title "Orphans' Court", relating to re-
funds of motor vehicle license fees paid by a deceased person.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 255 of Article 93 of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1951 Edition), title "Testamentary Law", sub-title "Orphans'
Court", be and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amend-
ments, to read as follows:
255. When the assets of a decedent's estate consist only of a
motor vehicle, the Commissioner of Motor Vehicles may, upon proof
satisfactory to him that all debts and taxes owed by the decedent
have been paid, transfer the title to such motor vehicle to the person
entitled thereto and, upon application of such person, refund the
amount of license fee for the unused portion of the year, calculated
on a [quarterly] semi-annual basis; and, in such case, no administra-
tion of the decedent's estate need be had.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1955.
