(6)   for rendering any services required or necessarily incident
to the duties of the office, and not hereinabove covered, the Clerk may
make such charges as are reasonable and appropriate ;

(7)  for furnishing copies of opinions, $2.00, when ordered in
advance, or $3.00 if ordered thereafter.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1955.

CHAPTER 209
(Senate Bill 333)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 54 (h)
of Article 2B of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1951 Edition),
title "Alcoholic Beverages", sub-title "Application for License",
relating to the requirements for an application for an alcoholic
beverage license in Queen Anne's County.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 54 (h) of Article 2B of the Annotated Code of Mary-
land (1951 Edition), title "Alcoholic Beverages", sub-title "Appli-
cation for License", be and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted,
with amendments, to read as follows:

54.

(h) (Queen Anne's County.) In Queen Anne's County (1) the
application shall also contain a statement that the applicant is not
less than twenty-one years of age; and (2) each application for a
license must be verified by the affidavit of the applicant [; (3) in
lieu of the certificate, there shall be annexed to every such applica-
tion the affidavit of at least ten reputable citizens, voters and tax-
payers residing in the election district in which the applicant lives,
certifying that each of them has been personally acquainted with
the applicant for one year at least, knows him to be a person of
good moral character, knows that the statements of fact contained
in the applicant's petition for a license are true, and verily believes
that the assurance in such application will be faithfully fulfilled].

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1955.
