of division between Braddock District No. 24 and Ballenger District
No. 23 to the southeast corner of the Mt. Phillip farm house; thence
northeasterly with the present line of division between the said
Braddock and Ballenger Districts to the southeast corner of the
dwelling house on the property now owned by George B. Humberson
(formerly owned by Frederick Oland); thence northwardly following
the road of the former Frederick Oland property to the public road
known as Butterfly Lane; thence northeasterly by straight line to
Alternate U.S. Route No. 40 at the entrance to a private road or lane
leading to Waverly farm on said Alternate Route 40; thence by and
with the middle of said lane northwardly in a straight line to a point
100 yards northeast of the main dwelling on said Waverly farm;
thence from said point due north by a straight line until it intersects
the southern line of Tuscarora District No. 21; thence by and with
said line of division between Braddock and Tuscarora Districts west-
wardly to the intersection of the dividing line between Middletown
and Braddock Districts, from the point of this intersection to a point
marking the intersection of Ridge Road with U.S. Route No. 40;
thence westwardly along the center line of U.S. Route No. 40 a
distance of 1500 feet to a point; thence southwardly by a line 1500
feet west of and parallel to the Ridge Road, Maryland Avenue, and
Jefferson Boulevard to the point of beginning.
(b) (Ballenger Election District No. 28) The boundaries and out-
lines of Ballenger Election District No. 23 shall remain as presently
defined except insofar as a small segment in the Northwest corner
of said district is incorporated into Braddock Election District No.
2U, as hereinbefore defined and set out in sub-section (a) of this
section.
(c) (Jefferson Election District No. 14) The boundaries and out-
lines of Jefferson Election District No. 14 shall remain as presently
defined, except insofar as a small segment in the Northeast corner
of said district is incorporated into Braddock Election District No.
2Uy as hereinbefore defined and set out in sub-section (a) of this
section.
(d) (Middletown Election District No. 3) The boundaries and out-
lines of Middletown Election District No. 3 shall remain as presently
defined except insofar as the eastern portion of said district is incor-
porated into Braddock Election District No. 24, as hereinafter defined
and set out in sub-section (a) of this section.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1955.
