SEC. 9. And be it further enacted, That the power and authority
herein given to the Board of Education of Anne Arundel County to
borrow money in order to finance the construction or extension of
public schools in said County, as herein defined, and to issue bonds
upon its full faith and credit and upon the full faith and credit of
the County Commissioners of Anne Arundel County, as herein pro-
vided for, shall be exercised only with the specific consent of the
Board of County Commissioners of Anne Arundel County. Before
proceeding to sell any such bonds under the provisions of this Act,
the Board of Education of Anne Arundel County shall secure the
consent of the Board of County Commissioners of Anne Arundel
County to such sale.

SEC. 10. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1955.

CHAPTER 206
(Senate Bill 251)

AN ACT to add Section 146A to Article 11 of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Frederick County",
sub-title "Election Districts", said new section to follow imme-
diately after Section 146 thereof, changing the boundaries of
Braddock Election District No. 24, Ballenger Election District No.
23, Jefferson Election District No. 14 and Middletown Election
District No. 3 of Frederick County and modifying the provisions
of Section 146 of said Article and sub-title to the extent required
by this Act.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 146A be and it is hereby added to Article 11 of the Code
of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Frederick
County", sub-title "Election Districts", said new section to follow
immediately after Section 146 thereof and to read as follows:

146A. (a) (Braddock Election District No. 24). The provisions
of Section 146 hereinabove are modified by the changes in boundaries
provided in this section. Braddock Election District No. 24 shall
henceforth be described and include the territory contained within
the following description: Beginning at a point on the boundary line
of Middletown District No. 3 and Jefferson District No. 14, on the
west side of Catoctin Mountain, 1500 feet westerly from a point where
Jefferson District, or election district No. 14, and Middletown Dis-
trict, or election district No. 3, join on a boundary of Braddock
District, or election district No. 24; thence running South paralleling
Jefferson Boulevard to a point in the center of the Teen Barnes Road;
thence easterly along the center line of the Teen Barnes Road, a
distance of 3,000 feet to a pointy thence North paralleling the said
boulevard to a point of intersection with the existing boundary line
of Braddock District No. 24; thence running easterly with the line
