Sabbath Day commonly called Sunday, nor shall any liquors be sold
by any licensee or any agent, servant or employee of said licensee be-
tween the hours of 12 midnight and 6 o'clock A. M. But this section
shall not prevent the sale of any wine, beer, or other spirituous, or fer-
mented beverages containing less than 8% alcohol by volume on any
day including Sunday, or at any time except between the hours of 12
midnight and 6 o'clock A. M. The

holic beverages are sold or displayed shall be closed at midnight, and
all bottles and containers used in dispensing alcoholic beverages must
be removed from the tables on or before 1:00 A. M. Any person vio-
lating any of the provisions of this section shall be deemed guilty of a
misdemeanor and upon trial and conviction shall be subjected to a fine
of not less than fifty dollars ($50.00) nor more than two hundred and
fifty dollars ($250.00), or may be confined in the county jail or in the
house of correction for not less than sixty days, or both, in the dis-
cretion of the Court.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1,1955.

CHAPTER 150
(House Bill 288)

AN ACT to add a new section to Article 93 of the Annotated Code of
Maryland (1951 Edition), title "Testamentary Law", sub-title
"Account", said new section to be known as Section 1A and to
follow immediately after Section 1 thereof, requiring a certificate
approved by the Orphans' Court and signed by the Supervisor of
Assessments certifying that property of a decedent has been
properly transferred on the assessment books.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That a new section be and it is hereby added to Article 93 of the
Annotated Code of Maryland (1951 Edition), title "Testamentary
Law", sub-title "Account", said new section to be known as Section
1A, to follow immediately after Section 1 thereof, and to read as
follows:

1A. Before the Orphans' Court shall pass the first administration
account rendered by an administrator or executor of the estate
of any person who died owning
A FEE SIMPLE ABSOLUTE
INTEREST IN real estate in Baltimore City or in the County in
which letters of administration or letters testamentary have been
issued, and before any will (or copy thereof) probated elsewhere than
in Baltimore City or in the county in which any real estate devised
by said will is located shall be recorded in the office of the Register
