To the Clerk of the Court of Appeals:
I, JOHN R. REEVES, SECRETARY OF STATE OF THE STATE OF MARY-
LAND, pursuant to the direction contained in Section 210 of Article 33
of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1951 Edition) DO HEREBY CER-
TIFY, that at the General Election held in the State of Maryland on the
2nd day of November, 1954, an Act known as Chapter 620 of the Acts
of the General Assembly of 1953, was submitted to the voters of
Baltimore County, Maryland, for their adoption or rejection under
the provisions of Chapter 620 of the Acts of 1953, said Act being
as follows:
"An Act to add a new section to the Code of Public Local Laws
of Baltimore County (1948 Edition) providing that with certain
exceptions all bonds or certificates of indebtedness, proposed
by the County Commissioners of Baltimore County, except
self liquidating bonds or certificates of indebtedness shall be
approved by the voters of Baltimore County."
AND I DO CERTIFY, that at such election 25,539 votes were cast in
favor of the adoption of Chapter 620 of the Acts of the General
Assembly of 1953 and 12,961 votes were cast against the adoption of
the said Chapter 620, and a majority of the votes being cast in favor
of the adoption of the said Act, the same has, therefore, been ratified
by the voters of Baltimore County.
IN TESTIMONY WHEREOF, I have hereunto subscribed my
